Celebrating 30 years of competition at our beautiful venue, the Golden Spike Horse Trials is excited to offer a new and challenging experience for eventers this June 17, 2017, with a new water complex and new jumps. Wasatch Pony Club received a RAMP (recreation, arts, museums and parks) grant in 2016 to redesign and renovate the water complex. WPC was fortunate to have David Koss create the design and oversee the work. Beyond the water complex, many elements of the course will also be redesigned. David has utilized the terrain changes on the Golden Spike course to pose the kind of questions that riders need to face in order to be successful at moving up at other USEA recognized events and championships.
Wasatch Pony Club invests time and money in the course every year, and any proceeds beyond that from any events held by them go to the instruction of Wasatch Pony Club youth.
